This series of books is captivating to me. I read her books cover to cover and this is not the case with other knitting books. Her innovations are so inspired and conscious I am thrilled she is out there. I must admit, I have not yet gotten around to utilizing all her customizing methods, but have used many. The work is inspiring for me. The template work for the sock's unique fittings has thus far not made it to the top of my list, but it will and I am sure it will be a major breakthrough for me in design and creativity as here other ideas, which are smaller ones, always have been. She makes knitting better for me with all her works. The conceptual depth is fascinating, but I can understand, not everyone's area of interest.

I am so glad to see this wonderful book back in print. I have what I think, is a first edition, and am trying to find an errata list. There was one (a small one) stuck in my book but over the years, it seems to have come unstuck and disappeared. Which is a pity, because I am trying a few of the patterns again and there appears to be some errors. As a Spinner and Knitter, I find this book (the original) both inspiring and challenging.
